- Set media monitoring and social listening tools — Track news, social channels, and rumors for rapid detection.
- Prepare transparent public reporting templates and timelines — Create dashboards, press briefings, and regular update schedules.
- Review legal and ethical guidance and holding statements — Check consent, privacy rules, liability and prepare safe holding statements.
- Schedule regular plan reviews and after-action updates — Review after exercises or incidents and update procedures and contacts.
