  1. Place TV and attach stand or mount — Leave space for ventilation and easy access to ports.
  2. Plug in power and connect HDMI devices — Connect cable boxes, game consoles, and soundbars now to avoid re-routing later.
  3. Connect TV to your Wi‑Fi network — Use a strong password and prefer 5 GHz if available.
  4. Run the TV initial setup wizard — Set language, region, and time to ensure correct app availability.
  5. Create or sign in to the TV manufacturer account — Allows updates and app installs; use a unique password.
  6. Update the TV firmware/operating system — Install the latest updates before adding apps for security fixes.
