  3. Save digital copies of documents to cloud — Upload scans and screenshots to cloud or email a copy to yourself.
  4. Check in online and select seats — Complete online check-in where possible to save time at the airport.
  5. Pack liquids bag according to rules — Use clear resealable bag, 100ml/3.4oz containers; place accessible in carry-on.
  6. Charge devices and download offline content — Fully charge phone/tablet and download boarding pass, maps, or entertainment.
  7. Confirm arrival time and allow transit buffer — Aim for 2 hours before domestic and 3 hours before international flights.
  8. Arrange transport to the airport — Book ride, airport parking, or check public transit schedules ahead of time.
  9. Drop checked bag at the airline counter — Have ID and boarding pass ready; follow airline bag drop signage.
  10. Start security screening — Join the security queue early and have documents ready for inspection.
  11. Place liquids bag in a security bin — Put the resealable liquids bag on top of your bin for easy screening.
  12. Remove laptop or large electronics into a separate bin — Take laptops/tablets out of bags and lay them flat in the tray.
  13. Remove shoes and belt if required by screening lane — Follow signage and staff instructions for footwear and metal items.
  14. Repack items and gather belongings after screening — Check pockets, passport, boarding pass, and devices before leaving screening.
  15. Locate your boarding gate and check boarding time — Note gate number, distance, and posted boarding start time.
  16. Note your boarding group and set a reminder — Set phone alarm to head to gate 20–30 minutes before your group boards.
  17. Monitor flight status and gate changes — Use airport monitors or the airline app to check for updates.
  18. Access the lounge if eligible — Have your membership or lounge pass and boarding pass ready.
  19. Keep essential items in your carry-on — Pack meds, travel documents, charger, and a change of clothes for quick access.
  20. Board when your group is called and present ID — Proceed to the gate when called and show boarding pass and ID to the agent.
